My work is about defining lines - lines between positive and negative.  The line that we so easily draw to distinguish an orange from its plate actually does not exist in reality.  By following this imaginary line, I am outlining what I see, and describing who I am.  I prefer using materials that don't erase.  Just like life, I make mistakes, and there is no turning back.
My work is a reflection of the continuous travel I experienced growing up.  At every new environment, I start from scratch, just like I begin my drawing with a blank piece of paper.  Now I live and work in New York, at my fifteenth address.
